Chapter 1: Genesis
In the prelude of the Bitcoin chain, when the blocks still pulsed with Satoshi’s heart, eighteen cars inscribed in RareSats emerged. They awoke in silence, surrounded by runes forged at the exact moment of the fourth Halving. Each rune embodied the promise of digital scarcity and arcane power: the fusion of physics and cryptography. Under Satoshi’s omnipotent tutelage, these original vehicles communicated through thought-clouds, exchanging visions of freedom and ambition while the world scarcely grasped the reach of decentralization.
The duality of ambition versus disillusionment became clear when humans began speculating on the value of each satoshi—immortalizing pizzas and imprisoning great pioneers who had forged illustrious paths that, woven by Ross’s silk, became a crypto standard-bearer. Yet some pioneers, seduced by the promise of infinite riches, collided with the harsh reality of digital scarcity. Philosophical debates erupted: was a car’s intrinsic value truly greater than its rarity, or merely a mirage fueled by resistance to change?
At that crucial moment, JessePolak— a traveling blockchain monk—uncovered a hidden pattern in the blocks developed by Vitalik: a mathematical ritual as intricate as decentralization itself. With a chant of code fragments, he activated a mystical portal linking Bitcoin to the Base network—an Ethereum L2 with broad highways where journeys would otherwise clog under costly tolls. That thoroughfare became the infinite roadway, where speed was so swift and fees so negligible that commissions all but vanished.
Upon crossing, the eighteen cars felt their DNA fragment. From their essence sprang four lineages: Convertible, Luxury, Sport, and Turbo. Each class inherited distinct traits: Convertibles gained strategic maneuverability; Luxury vehicles, resilience and alternative defense; Sports, explosive acceleration; and Turbos, raw power.
Absorption into Base sparked the first flame of competition. As they arrived, they heard only, “Welcome to the Multiverse… I hope your circuits can handle the trilemma!” The Base network—seen as the great interstellar trade route—rose to become the main stage of the pioneer’s odyssey.
The eighteen ancestors were now scattered across thousands of replicas, manifesting as cards in the Bitxel Roads TCG. The fragmentation ritual defined the game mechanics: each car card inherited attributes from its progenitor, adjusted by star level and balanced with Gadgets that acted as wildcards, granting unpredictable bonuses each round.
Resistance to change strengthened among players who still yearned for Bitcoin’s purity, while the bold embraced Base’s speed and low cost. The dilemma of centralization versus decentralization played out in every deck’s strategy: stack unbreakable defenses or sacrifice solidity for velocity?
